A Big Announcement

I started this blog on January 25th, 2008. It's name was the same as it is today. To be honest, I started blogging in 2005 but I used another platform. Some of you may be familiar with it. It is called Myspace. I transferred all of my posts over here (I think) so this is my official home. I'm very passionate and emotional about it. 12 years of my life is stored under this name.

I came up with it not knowing which pun or tagline I would use. It's evolved over time. 

Her Five Cents: A Nickle for your thoughts

Her Five Cents: Because 5 is more than 2 (Does anyone get that this is a play off of "My two cents" 

Her Five Cents: A Nickle in time.... saves 9.

Her Five Cents: Something about how we have 5 people in our family. 

When it came time to choose a new name for

you can guess what I chose! In fact, this place where I currently write has now been changed to http://www.blog.herfivecents.com  

http://www.herfivecents.com is the new home of my store!

I'll be starting off with graphic tees and leggins. The tees are all my own designs and feature quotes, sayings and characters from pop culture and life in general. I'm really excited to be sharing this journey with you.
